How does the air purifying tower work? The air purifying tower is an air purifier in its simplest form, a cyclone that sprays water on the indoor walls to improve collection efficiency. Water absorbs fine dust particles that otherwise do not stay on the surface to collect and tend to be swept back into the air stream. However air scrubbers due to operational issues (i) keep interior walls coated, maintain water distribution and interior walls, clean mud and sludge collection interiors. An improved design of this aspect sprays water into the contaminated air inlet. The grout in these collectors had to travel long distances in the collector. Another disadvantage is that the mud droplets are disturbed by the upward outlet and the inner vortex of the dripping expansion chamber. The collection efficiency of these units is, however, much higher than that of drying units. High collection efficiency can be achieved in the wash by keeping the air velocity high enough to drive the dust through the surface tension of the water droplets. A well-designed wash produces second-generation droplets and fog zones. Wet scrubbers are usually classified based on the pressure drop (the difference in pressure between two points in a system, the resistance to flow caused by the flow, and a water level gauge measured in inches) as follows:
1) Low energy scrubber
2) Low and medium energy scrubbers
3) High-energy scrubbers in
4) High-energy scrubber
The air purifying tower has low cost and requires small space installation. They can be used to treat high temperature and high humidity air streams and have the ability to trap air and sticky particles. However they have high operating costs, heavy dust loads that need to be cleaned, cause water contamination and can impair high velocities.
